Product Description

Tatéi Werîka Wimarï is a large format original work that explores the ancestral symbol of the double-headed eagle from a contemporary and spiritual perspective.

The piece began in Poland in 2022 during an international art festival held in a medieval castle of German origin. It was created as a live act and subsequently traveled through different European countries until it was completed in Tulum, Mexico.

The central symbol—the two-headed eagle—appears in various ancient cultures such as Mesopotamia, Byzantium, Germany, and Poland, as well as in Mexican colonial reinterpretations and symbolic references linked to indigenous peoples of Jalisco.

In the Wixárika tradition, the double-headed eagle represents the union of duality:

  • Spirit and matter

  • Earth and sky

  • Feminine and masculine

  • Moon and sun

  • Water and fire

Both forces unite through the heart, understood as the point of balance and healing.

This work is not only a visual piece but also a symbolic and geographical journey between Europe and Mexico, integrating history, spirituality, and a universal archetype.

Ideal for collectors of contemporary art, large architectural spaces, or curatorial projects.
